Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Louisville Downtown is seeking a Night Auditor to balance revenue, settle accounts nightly, and perform Guest Service Agent tasks during the late shift. The role also involves maintaining records and generating daily reports.

Ideal candidates have prior night audit experience, strong Excel and arithmetic skills, and the ability to input data into the BRAINS network. You will contribute to guest satisfaction and handle routine guest inquiries and check-ins/outs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required.
• Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.
• FSD certification a plus; required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits and balance accounts.
• Maintain records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers and credit cards.
• Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.
• Check guests in/out and perform Guest Service Agent duties.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.

• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
