Job summary

HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof in Houston is seeking a Night Attendant to join our team. The role includes handling courtesy calls within 30 minutes of guest check-in, assisting guests after hours, and managing check-ins/check-outs as needed.

We value guest privacy, safety, and strong customer service. The position offers part-time hours with opportunities for growth within a hospitality-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 year in customer service position.
• Basic office skills including math, cash handling and computer skills.
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct courtesy calls within 30 minutes after guest check-in.
• Assist guests with requests/complaints after regular hours.
• May handle check-ins/check-outs and issue guestroom keys for lost/lockouts.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of laundry rooms and guest laundry.
• Clean, dry and fold linen, blankets and bedspreads.
• Provide courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area.
• Ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining guest privacy and safety.
• Process payments, post charges to the property management system.
• Complete department checklists and shift reports.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements

• Conduct courtesy calls with-in 30 minutes after guest check-in.
• Assists guests with request and/or complaints after regular office hours.
• May handle check-ins/check-outs and make guestroom keys for lost/lockouts.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry rooms and guest laundry.
• Clean, dry and fold linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc.

• May compute bill, collect payments, and make changes for guests, post charges to Property Management system.
• Complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
• 1 year in previous customer service position.
• Must have basic office skills (math, cash handling, computer skills, etc.)
• Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred
