Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Chandler, Arizona. This role focuses on care of critically ill neonates and requires a qualified RN with NICU experience.

The position features 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment starting 10/12/2026. BLS/NRP required; travel nurses receive weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• RN with current license required.
• 1–2 years' acute care experience in NICU preferred.
• Start date 10/12/2026; 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust NICU equipment (incubators, ventilators).
