MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for NICU duties in Seattle, Washington. This contract role runs 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and includes travel benefits and housing options.

The candidate should hold NBRC credential and CPR certification, with 18 months of respiratory care experience preferred, especially in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders per physician orders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with management, staff, patients and families.
• Instruct patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
