Job summary

Kern Medical is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the NICU in Bakersfield, CA. This full-time role offers shift opportunities with a 7:00 PM–7:30 AM differential and a comprehensive benefits package. New hires may receive a $6,000 sign-on plus a 6% premium, with additional incentive potential.

Responsibilities include delivering expert nursing care, documenting data, coordinating with the care team, and educating families while adhering to standards and policies set by Kern Medical.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program; CA RN license required or temporary license acceptable.
Bachelor's preferred; ADN acceptable.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory and clinical skills; proficient with documentation and patient data management.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with family.
Document patient data according to prescribed methods.
Assess patient data to identify risk factors and report variances.
Coordinate care plans with the healthcare team and implement orders.
Prioritize nursing actions and develop written care plans.
