Job summary

Texas Health Rockwall is hiring a Registered Nurse II (NICU) for full-time night shifts. You will provide high‑level neonatal nursing care in a Level II NICU, participate in family education, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Training occurs at Arlington corporate office; required licensing and certifications must be current. Ideal candidates hold a nursing diploma or degree, with 1 year of RN experience and NICU exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher completed; RN license in Texas required on hire.
• 1 year RN experience or RN residency; Neonatal ICU experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required on hire; NRP/NRPA within 90 days.
• NRP required within 90 days; CPI training within 90 days; confidentiality emphasized.
• A strong ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to safety and care priorities for patients including safety, physical, psychological needs.
• Foster respectful care and positive interpersonal relations with patients and families.
• Engage with families in care decisions and health education.
• Collaborate with the care team to solve problems and plan patient care.
