Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a NICU RN to provide safe, compassionate care to neonatal patients and their families. The role requires neonatal nursing skills, NYS RN licensure eligibility, and BLS within 90 days. It is a full-time, onsite night shift with a sign-on bonus possible.

You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care and maintaining thorough documentation while supporting family-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and eligible for NYS limited permit.
• Current NYS RN license or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiologic, psychological, cognitive, and age-appropriate needs of neonatal patients.
• Provide knowledgeable nursing care to neonatal patients and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Respond to emergencies following protocols and document events.
• Communicate with families and healthcare team to maintain a secure, family-centered environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in continuing education.
