Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an experienced NICU RN to care for premature and critically ill neonates in a dedicated neonatal intensive care unit. The role focuses on respiratory support, feeding management, and close monitoring in a high-acuity environment.

The NICU RN will work with a team of neonatologists and pediatric specialists, monitor neonatal progress, and educate families on care plans while ensuring exceptional standards of safety and compassion. California license and NRP are required.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license must be current and in good standing.
• NRP certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience.
• Experience with high-acuity neonates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators, CPAP, and oxygen therapy.
• Administer neonatal medications and IV therapy.
• Monitor growth and developmental milestones.
• Support and educate families of neonates.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and pediatric teams.
