Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU in Anchorage. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide professional nursing care, support patient plans, and work within a large tribal health system to serve Alaska Native and American Indian communities. The position requires an Alaska RN license, BLS, and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 30 hours every 2 years continuing education in nursing; 16 in the specific area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional standards and regulations.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers in the plan of care.
• Delivers timely and effective nursing care according to established standards.
• Directs the day-to-day activities of LPNs, NAs and PSAs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
