Job summary

System Support in Dayton, OH seeks a Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU RRT-I to provide specialized neonatal respiratory care in a Level III NICU. You will perform respiratory assessments, deliver therapies, and collaborate with the neonatal team to optimize outcomes for critically ill newborns.

Responsibilities include neonatal airway management with assisted intubation, resuscitation and stabilization of high-risk deliveries, and ongoing education for families and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• Ohio Respiratory Care License and NBRC RRT credential.
• BLS certification; NRP training within 30 days.
• 1–3 years neonatal/critical care experience; neonatal intubation preferred.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist – (NICU RRT – I), functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The NICU RRT–I will be responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education and communication as it pertains to the patients and processes in the Level III NICU. The NICU RRT–I will provide neonatal airway management, including intubation with assistance, resuscitation and stabilization for all high-risk deliveries. The NICU RRT–I must interface with all members of the neonatal health care team. The NICU RRT–I is expected to provide an exceptional patient experience for our babies and their families.
