Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification by American Occupational Therapy Certification Board as an Occupational Therapist, Registered.
• Current Michigan registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1–2 years NICU/Pediatric Inpatient Rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and functional status related to medical diagnosis.
• Administer tests such as sensory, manual muscle, ROM assessments.
• Set short- and long-term therapy goals and create treatment plans.
• Provide therapy using therapeutic exercise, ADLs, functional training, and modalities.
• Document daily progress and communicate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain patient-centered care with age, development, and cultural considerations.
