Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a NICU nurse for the Neonatal ICU (Dept 1045 SLC-CH). This night shift role runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, at CoxHealth South.

You will provide specialist neonatal care in a high-acuity setting and support patient families. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license active in Missouri required.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• NRP within the first year of hire.
• NICU nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the neonate care plan.
• Administer medications and perform complex procedures.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate and support families/caregivers.
