Job summary

Baptist Health’s Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the NICU. This full-time night position (11:00pm–7:00am) supports nursing units with clerical duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include call management, stock and supply coordination, chart maintenance, customer greeting, and maintaining an organized nursing station.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights and phone calls promptly.
• Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment.
• Maintaining patient chart folders.
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
