Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Nutrition Specialist to assess, educate, and manage nutrition therapy for patients in a full-time capacity. You will document care and coordinate with the healthcare team to meet patient nutrition needs at Voorhees and Mount Holly locations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Nutrition/Dietetics and is a registered dietitian (RD) or eligible for RDE, with the ability to participate in rounds and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or RDE certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional assessment, education, counseling and documentation.
• Collaborates with medical professionals to assure patient nutrition needs are met.
• Attends medical rounds on units where applicable.
• Acts as resource for Healthcare Team as it relates to the patient.

Job Information:

Summary: Responsible for assessing, educating, and making a decision regarding the nutrition therapy of patients. Responsible for assuring that nutrition care is provided and documented in accordance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines.

Required Education:

Hourly Rate:

$30.37 - $47.20

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
