Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and CNA certification in Arkansas.

You will provide basic patient care, monitor vital signs, and support family-centered care during SAT/SUN 7pm–7am shifts. Most new hires start at $15.00–$18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in Arkansas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents patient care in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency situations and reacts appropriately.
• Maintains patient chart/record.
• Performs clerical/receptionist/support services duties.
• Ensures an appropriate level of forms, supplies and equipment.
• Practices cost effective use of supplies.
