Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL, seeks an experienced nurse leader to manage daily operations of a nursing unit. You will ensure alignment with departmental goals and may provide direct patient care as needed.

Responsibilities include staff management, scheduling oversight, regulatory compliance, and resource planning to optimize patient outcomes and safety. Requires Florida RN license and 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

Active Florida RN license required.
Minimum two years nursing experience.
ACLS and/or PALS within 6 months where applicable.
Oncology/chemo provider certification required for those administering chemotherapy.
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications as per department.

Responsibilities

Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagements as needed.
Ensures regulatory compliance across the unit.
Assists with identifying equipment, systems and supply needs.
Monitors usage and ensures equipment remains in proper working order.
