Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. The CNA provides direct patient care under supervision, supports RNs and LPNs, and helps maintain patient records and unit operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification, and BLS.

Prior CNA experience is preferred. The role requires English reading/writing ability and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• Current BLS certification and renewal as required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or completion of terminology course.

Responsabilités

• Stock patient rooms and carts/drawers.
• Assist RNs and LPNs with patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, walking, and other tasks.
• Take vital signs on stable patients and report to nurse.
• Document patient data in the hospital system.
• Communicate with charge nurse, co-workers, and physicians.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate intake and output records.
