Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing alloys environment.
• Experience with nickel alloys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical matters relating to nickel alloys.
• Assess and analyze structures of various alloys.
• Develop, establish and document new and improved procedures and methods for metal production.
• Establish company process standards.
• Initiate, manage and monitor experimental and product testing projects.
• Perform root-cause failure analysis.
• Monitor alloy performance and evaluate material deterioration.
• Provide engineering direction to optimize production of alloys.
• Perform characterization of new product.
• Provide technical oversight for development programs and advice to customers.
