Responsible to assemble, fit, wire and install parts to form subassemblies or finished products. This position must be able to proficiently perform all necessary material handling functions and E1 transactions within their assigned area, which may include the following: ship, pack, receive materials, supply and/or move materials within the department or between departments, operate RF devices, and operate motorized or non-motorized material moving equipment (pallet jack, fork lift, walk-behind lift, stand-up lift, etc.). Employees are expected to be able to behave in a safe manner and safely operate various types of equipment. Must accomplish quality requirements while meeting the objectives of production.

Safety:
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures and practices.
Quality:
- Operate within the quality requirements and production standards.
- Visually inspect parts and assemblies for cosmetic and functional defects.
- Complete and document results of first/last article inspections as required including the gaging of products utilizing measuring equipment as required per inspection/control plans.
- Perform and document all required quality inspections per the assigned frequency.
Responsibility & Customer-Driven:
- Follow Standard Operating Work instructions.
- Receive and stock various materials.
- Key information into PLC controlled equipment as required.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Able to run machines and stand for long periods of time.
- Pick product from production areas or storage bins.
- Lift and supply parts to workstations or designated areas as needed.
- Able to operate motorized and non-motorized equipment. May need to pass certification if necessary.
- Accomplish package requirements as instructed.
- Perform or assist with setups of machinery as needed.
- Operate scanners and/or computers as necessary.
- Match product numbers to Bill of Material or other documents.
- Edit and release work orders to production entry into ERP system.
- Communicate with others to ensure needed material for production is available.

- Handle, dispose of, identify, ship and receive hazardous waste materials as needed.

Education, Experience, Training, Certifications and Licenses:
Degree or equivalent experience:
- High school diploma is preferred
- Two year technical degree in an applicable manufacturing area of study is a plus
Years of experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

- Forklift Operation (May be learned after accepting job but must be passed within 60 calendar days of start date in position unless Management agrees to an extension)
