Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Terminal Operations Technician to ensure safe, reliable handling of NGL storage, transfer, and distribution at the Tyler area terminal. The role involves operating pumps, loading systems, and storage tanks, while maintaining accurate inventory and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, supporting maintenance, and coordinating with engineering, measurement, and environmental teams to uphold safety and efficiency in day-to-day terminal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to monitor and operate process equipment safely
• Able to troubleshoot, work independently, manage priorities
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays
• Basic computer proficiency including Office and maintenance systems
• Knowledge of P&IDs and electrical schematics
• Willing to travel periodically for training and support

Responsibilities

• Safely operate terminal equipment including pumps, compressors, loading systems, tanks, meters, and related process equipment
• Monitor product movements, inventory, and custody-transfer data
• Perform loading/unloading activities for truck, rail, pipeline, and marine transfers
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment inspections
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, measurement, and commercial teams as needed
• Support environmental and regulatory compliance programs and records
