Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an analytical professional to support the Gulf Coast NGL business unit. The role focuses on marketing, management and economics, delivering clear insights to drive budgeting and strategic decisions within a large energy company.

As a key member of the analytics team, you will build budgets, analyze assets across storage, fractionation, pipelines and exports, and prepare presentations for management. Travel and occasional after-hours work are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Industry experience with NGLs preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and timely work.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the NGL strategic business plan and how this function fits within it.
  • Understand ET NGL storage, fractionation, pipeline, and export assets.
  • Develop and maintain the annual budget along with three- and five-year plans.
  • Provide analytical support to ET groups (management, storage, fractionation, pipeline, marketing, business development).
  • Develop and maintain NGL marketing analytics including fundamental market analysis.
  • Provide support for ET NGL presentations.
  • Manage and maintain all required export documentation.
  • Optimize daily operational systems within each ET NGL business.
  • Provide and maintain ET NGL administrative reports (e.g., power usage, cost analysis).
  • Occasionally work before/after hours including some weekends.
  • Some travel required.

Description:

This position supports all of the analytical functions for the Energy Transfer Gulf Coast NGL business unit. Key focus is on marketing, management and economics.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the NGL strategic business plan and how this function fits within this plan
  • Concise understanding of the ET NGL storage, fractionation, pipeline, and export assets
  • Develop and maintain, in conjunction with ET management, the annual budget along with the three and five year estimated budget plans
  • Provide analytical support to the various groups with the ET business, i.e., management, storage, fractionation, pipeline, marketing and business development
  • Develop and maintain NGL marketing analytics including extensive fundamental market analysis
  • Provide support for all ET NGL presentations
  • Manage and maintain all required export documentation
  • Seek to optimize daily operational systems within each ET NGL businesses
  • Provide and maintain all ET NGL administrative reports for management as required (i.e., power usage, cost analysis, etc.)
  • This position occasionally requires working before/after regular office hours including some weekends
  • Some travel required
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
  • Must possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Industry experience with NGLs
Required Experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • The Associate Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or 0-2 years of relevant job experience.
  • The Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions:
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
