Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
NICET Level II in water-based or fire alarm systems are pluses.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
Able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
Responsibilities
Perform NFPA based inspections of water-based fire systems and alarms.
Troubleshoot wet-based fire systems and describe them to management.
Complete and submit all work tickets and inspection reports.
Self-schedule daily inspections.
Perform inspections from elevations of 30 to 40 feet.
Skills
Basic mechanical skills
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Knowledge of NFPA codes
Ability to work on ladders
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Education
High school diploma or GED
Vocational or industry trade school
Individual backflow license
NICET Level II certification
