Qualifications

• Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the assignment desk, answer phones, conduct beat checks, and transcribe news interviews.
• Research news topics (including online/social media news research).
• Assist in planning news series and promotional campaigns.
• Observe editors, reporters, writers, producers, directors, and technical crews and attend editorial/production meetings.
• Travel with marketing dept., news reporters and field crews for stories and live remotes when needed.
