Job summary

The Moulton Advertiser seeks a News Reporter/Staff Writer to cover breaking news and general assignments, plus local meetings, develop web content and page design/layout. Qualifications include a degree and/or experience in Journalism, English, or Creative Writing; strong writing skills; ability to meet deadlines; self-motivation; solid PC skills; and good organization and communication. A valid driver’s license and transportation are required.

Rate of Pay $13-$15 per hour. 37.5 hours per week.

News Reporter/Staff Writer The Moulton Advertiser has an immediate opening for a full-time news reporter/staff writer to cover breaking news and general news assignments, cover local meetings, develop web content and page design/layout.

Qualifications are: Degree and/or experience in Journalism, English, or Creative Writing.

Ability to work under tight deadlines, Superior writing skills with limited supervision, Be self-motivated and eager to produce quickly and accurately, Must have excellent PC skills, organization and communication skills.

This position also requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance. Some photography experience a plus.

Rate of Pay $13-$15 per hour. 37.5 hours per week.
