Job summary

NBCUniversal's NBC4 in Los Angeles area is seeking a Platform Manager / Newscast Producer to own production of newscasts, breaking news and special events across all platforms. You will shepherd a show from pitch to air, generating compelling teases and ideas.

We want a rockstar producer with solid newsroom experience, able to multi-task under tight deadlines, work weekends and holidays, and lead with clear communication and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience producing a high-quality, daily newscast in a major market.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts as assigned.
• Strong experience with writing, producing, and desktop editing including systems like Dalet and Adobe Premiere.
• Proficiency in newsroom production software and broadcast technology.

• Minimum 5 years of experience producing a high-quality, daily newscast under tight deadlines in a major market
• Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts as assigned and when necessary to meet operational demands
• Strong experience with writing, producing, and desktop editing including systems like Dalet and Adobe Premiere
• Proficiency in newsroom production software and broadcast technology

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or greater.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
