Job summary

Disney invites applications for a Publicity Internship in New York, supporting ABC News Publicity. You will help manage media relations, assist with press materials, and coordinate events while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday, with potential evening/weekend coverage. Eligible students must be enrolled and able to provide housing for the internship period.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in accredited college/university for degree or Disney internship participation.
• Ability to support evening/weekend coverage and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Compile/edit daily press clips and bios; assist with coverage reports.
• Support clip tracking during breaking news or PR crises.
• Maintain social media presence and design graphics with Canva.
• Issue press releases, loglines, and assist with event coordination.
