Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. is seeking a creative News Producer to manage the day-to-day production of our newscasts and shape the content and flow of the broadcasts. You will work closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors to generate, write and develop stories for our on-air and online content.

The ideal candidate has solid news judgment, compelling writing, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; journalism degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have solid news judgment and strong writing ability.
• Experience producing for a commercial TV station is preferred; entry-level considered.
• Journalism degree preferred but not always required depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine content and flow of daily newscasts.
• Write stories and develop content for the website.
• Collaborate with Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors.
• Produce engaging, timely news segments in a fast-paced environment.
