The ideal candidate has solid news judgment, strong writing, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Avid and iNews newsroom systems is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station
• A journalism degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce day-to-day newscasts and determine content and flow in collaboration with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors
• Write stories and develop content for the web site, shaping coverage and storytelling
