Job summary

The NAB Leadership Foundation is seeking a News Producer to craft daily newscasts across platforms, decide story order, write teases, time broadcasts, and edit video. You will post content to the website and engage audiences on social media, ensuring timely, accurate coverage.

You will balance news and features, approve scripts, and work within deadlines while collaborating with a newsroom team. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum two years' experience in news operations (depending on market size).

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum two years' experience in news operations (Depending on market size)
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
