Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group’s WTOV station in Ohio is seeking a full-time News Photographer to capture compelling stories, covering daily assignments, in-depth features, and investigative pieces. You will shoot in HD, edit on desktops, and bring engaging storytelling to air.

The role requires solid editing skills with non-linear systems, strong people skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. A valid driver’s license and physical stamina are essential for operating ENG vehicles and carrying

Qualifications

• Prior video shooting experience and knowledge of editing and photo equipment.
• Capable of producing stories under tight deadlines.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate ENG news vehicles.
• Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.

WTOV is looking for a creative full-time News Photographer! We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. You will cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments. We are shooting full high definition (HD) on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. You should have strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, possess excellent people skills, and a strong work ethic. A passion for story telling is absolutely essential in this position.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles
• Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, lives shots and natural sound packages
