Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group’s KRCG in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Fall News Intern to join a fast-paced newsroom. You’ll assist in researching, writing, and producing stories for broadcast and digital platforms, working alongside reporters and photographers in the field and studio.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate
• Be at least a sophomore at an accredited college/university
• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Be available to work on-site at KRCG in Jefferson City, MO approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks
• Be able to start between August 24th - September 14th
• Have reliable transportation (housing/relocation is not provided)
• Be passionate about local news, storytelling, and community impact
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What You’ll Do

This is a fast-paced, real newsroom—no two days are the same.
