Job summary

KDBC Fall News Intern at Sinclair Inc. in El Paso, TX offers a hands-on newsroom experience for Fall 2026. You’ll research, write, and produce stories for broadcast and digital platforms, working with reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers on-site.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Be at least a sophomore at an accredited college/university.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Be available to work on-site at KDBC in El Paso, TX approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks.
  • Be able to start between August 24th - September 14th.
  • Have reliable transportation (housing/relocation is not provided).
  • Be passionate about local news, storytelling, and community impact.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

We're looking for a passionate, curious, and driven News Intern to join our team for Fall 2026. As part of a forward-thinking media organization, you won't just observe—you'll actively contribute to the storytelling that informs and connects our community across platforms.

What You'll Do

This is a fast-paced, real newsroom - no two days are the same.
