Job Summary

This team produces crossplatform series, Crime Files, Revealed, Haunted TriState and others. News 12 Originals is the awardwinning production team creating innovative programming across our 7 locals channels and regional OTT platform, News 12NY. The successful candidate will be an outstanding storyteller and possess the ability to work crossfunctionally with various teams and stakeholders. This is a leadership position that requires exceptional team management, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and executive News 12 Original programming from initiation to completion, ensuring ontime delivery and meeting budget and quality standards.

• Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, in addition to feedback to the staff.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure editorial and production values of news programming meet News 12's high standards in news and storytelling to drive viewership, grow the audience, and strengthen the brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, Communications or related field
• 8+ years of experience in news programming production, with proven experience in both live and longform storytelling
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive project decisions
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
• Experience working in crossfunctional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $84,626.00-$139,030.00/ year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
