Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide newborn nursery care at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. The role offers a flexible daily schedule and collaboration with a seasoned neonatal team, with home-call arrangements and no routine in-house night coverage.

Ideal candidates will have OH licensure eligibility or board certification in pediatrics, and a strong focus on family-centered care in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must obtain OH medical license.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatrics.
• Experience with newborn nursery care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for newborns in the well-baby nursery.
• Perform newborn admissions and daily rounding.
• Conduct circumcisions.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
• Participate in shared call coverage taken from home.
• Deliver family-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards.
