Pediatrix is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in hospital settings, following each birth. The role includes hands-on training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification.
You will screen newborns, educate families, and ensure proper data handling and reporting. Work is performed at Monmouth Medical Center and other hospital locations as needed, with emphasis on accurate screens, patient education, and timely communication with supervisors
As a newborn hearing screen technician, you will provide hearing screens in the hospital after a baby is born. You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss. At Pediatrix, you will receive on-the-job training. This includes annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. By offering this certification, we strive to ensure our employees are adept in improving early detection of hearing impairments and encouraging timely intervention.

The pay for this position ranges from $17.10 - $21.60 per hour and is based on years of relevant experience.
