Qualifications

• AHIMA CCS credential required.
• Minimum of three years of facility-based coding experience with relevant coding systems.
• Level-1 Trauma coding experience required.
• Experience coding both inpatient and outpatient facility records.
• Strong understanding of inpatient MS-DRG assignment and outpatient reimbursement methodologies.
