Responsibilities

• Review, plan, and estimate design labor hours for each project
• Generate customer approval drawings
• Lay out, design, and detail CAD drawings
• Requisition parts to be purchased for mechanical package
• Troubleshoot factory floor problems with mechanical components in production
• Create project bills of material
• Occasionally travel to installation sites to take field measurements
• Generate drawings for inclusion in quote packages
• Perform all duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or management

The Senior Mechanical Designer is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.
