Crescent Hotels & Resorts invites you to embark on an exciting journey as the General Manager for the new Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant within the spectacular Remi Hotel, a new build Autograph Collection. Nestled in the pulsating heart of downtown Scottsdale's Entertainment District, this 161-room gem combines classic western elements with bold, modern motifs, redefining the desert aesthetic and attitude. It features five food and beverage outlets, from a 1940's inspired café to a Miami-style rooftop pool deck and bar.

OUR CONCEPTS

The General Manager will oversee all food operations for the Fine Dining Japanese Steakhouse, Kauboi, and other outlets including Allegra, F/SIXTEEN, and In-Room Dining.

  • KAUBOI: Fine Dining Japanese Steakhouse with Sushi, Robata, and a Whiskey-Based Speakeasy.
  • ALLEGRA: Rivera Beach Club-inspired Rooftop Pool Lounge with Cabana Service, Cocktails, and a 270-degree view.
  • F/SIXTEEN: American Diner with a modern twist, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, boozy milkshakes, and late-night options.

WHAT WE EXPECT

RESTAURANT OPERATIONS OVERSIGHT

  • Maintain quality and consistency of food and service, ensuring standards are met; act with urgency, professionalism, and engagement.
  • Provide a warm, attentive, friendly, and courteous service environment.
  • Understand the local market and surrounding areas.
  • Regularly evaluate service quality through audits and feedback.
  • Maintain safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and POS systems.
  • Drive operational standards daily.
  • Inspire, inspect, and inform staff daily.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT

  • Develop management team and staff, conducting evaluations and providing growth opportunities.
  • Lead PR, marketing, and sales efforts for the restaurant and hotel food operations.
  • Address poor performance and recognize good performance.
  • Maintain good vendor relations and adapt to owner needs.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and leadership.
  • Implement efficient systems and ensure legal compliance.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • Promote financial responsibility, managing costs, waste, and sales tracking.
  • Process transactions and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ensure proper documentation and accountability for expenses.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of GM experience in fine dining.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Availability for irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to exert 50 pounds of force frequently.
  • Work in hot and cold environments.
  • Combine sitting, walking, and standing.
