Zusammenfassung

Vergent Products is seeking an NPI Technician to manage the successful introduction of new products into production. You will translate client requirements for PCBAs into assembly documentation and programs for machine assembly, develop production quality plans, and assist with first articles as needed.

You will also work to reduce production costs while increasing throughput and quality, and maintain existing products and machine programs.

Qualifikationen

• AAS or equivalent experience in manufacturing, electronics or electro-mechanic discipline.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and to work in teams.
• Writing documentation including digital photography and image editing skills.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated success in process improvements.
• Working knowledge of electronics product assembly (PCBA and/or product level) and general manufacturing techniques.
• Detail oriented.

• Participate in Design for Manufacturability and client feedback.

As the NPI Technician, you will manage the successful introduction of new products into production. You will translate client requirements for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) into product assembly documentation and programs for machine assembly. Facilitate development and implementation of production quality plans and assist with the build of first articles if needed. You'll process change orders and deviations. You will also continuously work to reduce production cost while increasing throughput and quality as well as maintain & update existing products & machine programs.

Hourly rate for New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician position: $23.00 $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

As the New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician you will:
