HCA Florida Trinity Hospital offers a New Graduate Nurse Residency program for December 2025 and January 2026 graduates from Galen College of Nursing. The program supports caring for patients in a 340-bed facility serving Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties with a focus on safe, evidence-based nursing practice.

As a resident, you will work with a team of clinicians, participate in structured orientation, and gain hands-on experience in obstetrics, surgery and acute care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide individualized, comprehensive care using established nursing models.
• Advocate for patients and families to support positive outcomes and a great patient experience.

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department

• In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
