Job summary

CTC's Region 2 Production Engineering Department is seeking a Production Engineer to support planning and execution for new model introductions and capital projects aimed at improving assembly shop performance. You will lead equipment projects from concept to launch, perform layout and ROI studies, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners across Toyota networks.

This role requires up to 20% travel and a strong focus on schedules, budgets, and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Tech or associate with 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and shutdowns for tooling modifications.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet KPI-driven project requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD; Inventor and/or Catia preferred.
• Travel up to 20% to NAM regions and Japan.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to launch for new models and capital projects.
• Perform early planning, layout analyses, and impact studies for plant optimization.
• Develop technology improvements and ROI analyses for production shops.
• Coordinate with internal groups and external partners across the Toyota network.
• Ensure produced part quality and safety risk assessments during trials.
