General Motors is seeking a New Model Launch Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain readiness for new vehicle model launches across the North American network. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure accurate part profiles and lead times, and drive risk mitigation from program development through steady-state operations.
The role requires strong leadership, deep supply chain expertise, and experience with DRP/MRP and enterprise systems.
The New Model Launch Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain readiness and execution for new vehicle model launches across the CCA network. This role coordinates cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure parts, systems, processes, capacity, and operating plans are prepared to support a successful launch from program development through steady-state operations.
Working closely with GM Supplier Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Aftersales, and other key stakeholders, the New Model Launch Manager establishes launch plans, identifies and mitigates supply chain risks, and drives timely resolution of issues that could affect launch timing, service levels, cost, or customer experience. The role supports launch activity across approximately 25 locations and ensures the network is positioned to transition effectively from launch execution into stable operations.
