Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Technical Specialist to oversee the installation of new tooling in a production environment. The candidate will serve as the technical expert during vehicle launches, coordinating project activities and resolving quality issues. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of automotive engineering experience are preferred. The position may require occasional travel and flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in design or launch/sustaining engineering in automotive preferred.
• 0 – 10 years job related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert during new vehicle/tooling launches.
• Conduct feasibility studies and confirm new manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate launch schedules and report to senior management.
• Resolve safety, process, and quality issues on new model launches.
