Glowbar is seeking a Lead Esthetician in Hoboken to elevate client care and mentor a growing team. You will perform Glowbar’s signature 30-minute facial, coach junior estheticians, and guide treatment plans with product recommendations. You’ll manage client relations and memberships while upholding sanitation and brand standards.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid esthetician license (state).
• Proven leadership or coaching ability is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Glowbar’s 30-minute facial with consistency and care.
• Lead on-shift, mentor estheticians, and provide real-time feedback.
• Develop customized treatment plans and guide clients on products and routines.
• Build lasting client relationships and guide memberships to achieve skincare goals.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and sanitation standards before/after every appointment.
• Onboard new hires, train, shadow treatments, and conduct evaluations.
• Lead ongoing education for the studio and provide weekly feedback to management.
• Dedicate up to 1 shift weekly to administrative duties and operational oversight.
• Identify process improvements with the Studio Manager to enhance service delivery.
• Step in at the front desk when needed to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Uphold Glowbar professionalism, skincare expertise, and guest experience in every interaction.

As a Lead Esthetician at Glowbar, you’re the bridge between exceptional service and exceptional leadership delivering our signature 30-minute facial while also coaching and mentoring the next generation of Glowbar estheticians. This is a role for someone who’s ready to have real influence over how a studio runs and grows.

What You’ll Do

Everything an Esthetician does plus a dedicated day each week focused on developing and growing your team. Every day, you’ll:

• Deliver Glowbar’s customized 30-minute facial with the highest level of consistency and care
• Perform specialized services like extractions, dermaplaning, nano infusion, LED therapy, and high-frequency treatments
• Educate and develop customized treatment plans with recommended products and guide clients on ingredients and at-home routines
• Build lasting client relationships by documenting detailed notes and guiding every client toward the membership as the best way to achieve their skincare goals
• Keep your studio and treatment room spotless and client-ready – maintaining sanitation standards before and after every appointment
• Serve as the on-shift leader providing real-time feedback, mentorship, and treatment shadows to estheticians while ensuring service standards are met
• Conduct hands‑on practical assessments during the interview process to evaluate candidates before they join the team
• Onboard new hires in partnership with the Studio Manager by leading training sessions, shadowing treatments, and conducting performance evaluations
• Lead continued education for the studio, receiving and observing treatments from new hires and team members to gauge performance, and delivering structured weekly feedback to Studio Management
• Dedicate up to 1 shift per week to administrative responsibilities: performance feedback, operational oversight, and inventory management
• Partner with the Studio Manager to identify process improvements, enhance service delivery, and drive studio revenue growth
• Step in at the front desk when your team needs you to ensure a seamless client experience
• Embody the Glowbar standard in professionalism, presentation, and skincare expertise — in every interaction, every shift

Who We’re Looking For

• A validated (temporary or permanent) licensed Esthetican or Master Esthetican or 6 months of experience at Glowbar with a track record of achieving monthly sales goals
• Genuine passion for skincare, client care, and developing the people around you
• A warm, professional presence and a hospitality‑first mindset
• Flexible availability, including weekends (we're busiest when clients have time to glow)
• Full-Time: 5‑day open availability, including both weekend days
• A results‑driven attitude - we'll support you in hitting $1,000+ in monthly product sales
