Job summary

New Home Consultant Trainee at Lennar will operate a Welcome Home Center under a mentor, generating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline and engaging with customers to process sale agreements and close new home sales.

Whether a recent graduate or an experienced sales professional, you will be paired with an experienced mentor to build a foundation or accelerate your career; participate in tours, promotions, and marketing programs while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
  • Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing the company's selling philosophy.
  • Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics.
  • Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing, maintaining accurate communication records.
  • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes.
  • Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.

Your Responsibilities On The Team

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $20.00 - $20, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
