Job summary

DRB Homes in Greenville, SC seeks an entry-level Construction Assistant to support Project Managers in delivering quality, newly built homes. You will help maintain job sites, coordinate with trades, and ensure adherence to schedules and homeowner options.

Ideal candidates are organized, able to multitask, read blueprints, and work with minimal supervision. This role offers growth through training and involvement in pre-construction meetings and weekly community updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, specifications and development plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides project manager with construction site assistance as assigned.
• Maintain job site and model home safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure home construction complies with building codes, phase specifications and homeowner options.
• Attend and participate in training classes for career advancement.
• May participate in pre-construction meetings.
• May participate in pre-settlement walk-through meetings with customers.
• Participate in weekly community meetings.
• Maintain construction schedules.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Residential Construction Experience or Construction Management degree
