Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A truck drivers to work with a schedule that keeps you home weekly. Orientation is paid and you will be trained with a driver mentor for recent graduates. Experienced drivers must have at least 6 months of driving within a regional or over-the-road setup.

Compensation ranges from $1,500 to $1,700 per week, with about 2,100 miles per week. The operating area includes surrounding states; expect to be home weekly with 5 days out and 2 days home to spend time with

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Recent CDL A Truck Driving School Certificate of minimum of 120 hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
