Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy, a Carolinas Medical Center facility, is seeking a registered nurse to join its inpatient teams across Mercy North/South units. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality across the continuum.

Where You Will Work

By applying to the following application, you will be applying for all Mercy Adult Inpatient units listed below.

• 2 North/Mercy Horizons: 16-bed Med/Surg/Tele Observation unit combined with an 11-bed voluntary medical detox unit (benzo, ETOH, and opiates).
• 3 North: 31-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit with a renal focus
• 4 North: 29 bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit with Heart Failure focus
• 5 North: 26- bed Surgical/Tele unit specializing in general surgery, ortho, and urology
• 6 South: 34-bed Med/Surg/Tele unit specializing in all types of med/surg issues
• 7 North/South: 22- bed Ortho surgery unit combined with a 26-bed Med/Surg/tele and ortho overflow unit. Specializing in Hip replacements, knee replacements, Shoulder replacements, and spine surgery.
• ADTU (Admission/Discharge/Transfer Unit): 12 bays Med/Surg short length of stay

Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
