Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking motivated, compassionate New Graduate Physical Therapists to join our outpatient clinics across multiple locations. You will receive individualized mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities to transition from student to practicing clinician in a supportive environment.

You'll work with a collaborative team, access modern facilities, and participate in mentorship programs, leadership tracks, and extensive new-grad resources to grow your clinical

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in New York state or eligible to practice.
• Basic certifications: First Aid, AED, CPR are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Instructs family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in PT techniques.
• Provides care per physician care plan and professional standards of care.

Job Description

We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking New Graduate Physical Therapists to join our growing team! We are hiring for our clinics throughout Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

As a new grad at Metro, you’ll receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and the resources you need to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician. You’ll work in a supportive outpatient environment alongside skilled therapists, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team that truly values your growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
