ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking entry-level mechanical engineers for our Nuclear Design Group.

You will contribute to designing plant modifications, safety analyses, licensing renewals, and advanced reactor support on projects for nuclear power facilities, with mentorship and professional development. What are skills that would be helpful to your success as a new graduate?
  • Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
  • Available to start on an agreed upon date between January 2027 and July 2027.
  • Preferred Courses: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, and Statics.
  • A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
  • Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
  • Must be able to work outside.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
Interview And Employment Requirements
  • Completion of pre interview assessments.
  • College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post‑graduation.
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client‑specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
